Feeling Small

Drawing inspiration from the iconic tea party of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, this film reimagines Wonderland as a social microcosm. A lone outsider approaches a carefully curated gathering, only to encounter the quiet mechanisms of gatekeeping and group hierarchy. As the group tightens and the individual diminishes, the story examines how exclusion operates—not through overt cruelty, but through silence, posture, proximity, and performance. The fantastical act of shrinking becomes a metaphor for what it feels like to take up less and less space in order to survive.
