Brexten Bezzant

Brexten Bezzant is a UVU student studying screenwriting for film. He is passionate about storytelling, expression, and community.

Tim Ballard

Tim Ballard is a filmmaker, director, editor/VFX artist, and actor, with a passion for telling authentic human stories through film. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Media Arts from Brigham Young University and further developed his craft during a film-focused study abroad program in London. Tim creates, acts in, and directs short films that often explore adventure, personal connection, and difficult topics. His love of travel inspired a short documentary chronicling his experience climbing Mount Kilimanjaro. Tim hopes to develop a feature film in the near future while continuing to spotlight compelling stories from diverse voices around the world. In addition to his narrative work, Tim creates comedy content online, blending performance, music, and unconventional humor.

Weber Griffiths

Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, Weber Griffiths is a proud “Utahn”. His family has lived here for generations, since the first Mormon Pioneers entered the valley in 1847. Weber loves his family and his heritage; the hard work and sweat of hundreds of hands that have put him where he is today. In his life and young adulthood, he learned to love the outdoors, reading, and that certain intangible quality that is hard work and sincere expression. From an early age Weber knew he wanted to create.

Engaging in the craft of film making and specifically directing is his ultimate creative pursuit in life. The more he studies and consumes all kinds of art, the more committed he becomes to this beautiful form of expression.

On top of directing, cinematography, and writing, Weber has been teaching professionally for almost 6 years now and finds it extremely invigorating and fulfilling. Creating things, teaching about the masters who have created beauty before him, and continually steeping himself in the art and craft of storytelling is his life’s passion.
