Your project is greenlit – congratulations! In this workshop, learn the next steps from finalizing your script and the production budget to hiring your crew and cast. We will also talk about location scouting, getting estimates from equipment vendors, and setting up union and crew contracts. We will also talk about how to organize your project using file sharing tools. These discussions will help ensure that you have a strong infrastructure to make your project a success. Attendees are encouraged (but not required) to bring the script and budget for your short film, TV pilot, or feature script (doc or fiction) project.

This season’s Business of Filmmaking Workshop series will be a comprehensive look at the business aspects of making your film from setting up your film as a business to managing and allocating your budget to preparing for production providing you with the resources to create an effective infrastructure and make your project a success.
