If you are new to the industry or if you need an on-set refresher, the Production Assistant Training Program is a great way to learn more about working on Utah film, television, and commercial sets. Hosted by Fade to Black Productions and developed with the Utah Film Commission, the course is taught by experienced 1st ADs and production experts. After completing this class, students will have the option of completing the full certification which includes a listing in the Utah Film Commission Directory. Course length: 4 hours

Marcie Gibboney

With over 18 years of Industry experience, Marcie has worked as a Producer, Production Manager, Production Accountant and AD with both large studios and independent production companies.

Her most recent credits include the Production Manager for a National Sony commercial starring Post Malone, a co-producer on the Disney+ show High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, and the Supervising Producer for the short film, Your Daughter, ClytnyAnn. She is an adjunct instructor at Utah Valley University teaching classes in Film/TV Production. She is a member of the Producers Guild of America (PGA)
