An in-person craft-focused conversation with the director of the film, Beyond the Mix, Brittanie Goldsby. We will explore the themes of the film including the art of sound design, mixing, and production within music and film. The documentary highlights the world of music creation from the intimate studio moments to live performances. We will use the film as a catalyst for a conversation about the intersecting art forms of music and film and what the creative process and collaboration looks like when it results in unforgettable experiences for audiences.
