Artist Foundry Coordinator

Utah Film Center is seeking an individual who is eager to support the management of our Artist Foundry program and co-working space. The ideal Artist Foundry Coordinator will be friendly, organized, creative, detail oriented, strategic, and passionate about supporting local filmmakers.

The organization’s engagement, support, and supervision will be very hands-on. We are a small non-profit organization so communication, teamwork, time management, interpersonal skills, and goal setting are absolutely essential to our success.

Starting November 3rd, 2025

Full-time, 40 hours per week

In-person at Utah Film Center (375 W. 400 N.)

Reports to: Artist Foundry Manager

 

Roles and Responsibilities: 

  • Support Artist Foundry programs including workshops, panels, meet-the-artist events, film and pitch competitions, networking events, sponsored community events, and Utah Filmmaker Showcase screenings:
    • Create and manage registration pages and posts on all platforms
    • Coordinate materials with filmmakers, instructors, panelists, etc. and with attendees
    • Attend events and help with check-in, recording, etc.
    • Shoot, edit, and upload event recordings to Member Portal
    • Participate in review and curation of Utah Filmmaker Showcase programs
    • Collect and report attendance data
  • Support management of Artist Foundry space and memberships including:
    • Administrative and Member Portal backend tasks (managing memberships, invoices, bookings, etc.)
    • Onboarding new members and being a point person for all members
    • Coordinating space and equipment rentals
  • Brainstorm and strategize with Artist Foundry Manager and other departments about future programming and membership for the Artist Foundry including review of feedback surveys
  • Be a representative of the Artist Foundry at industry and community events
  • Collaborate with Artist Foundry Manager and Marketing on outreach efforts
  • Use online platforms including Salesforce, Asana, Eventive, WordPress, Formsite, Vimeo, OfficeRND, FilmFreeway, Adobe Premiere, Canva, and Google suite

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in administrative role and/or as a project coordinator
  • Knowledge of roles and responsibilities, resources, and needs regarding filmmaking processes
  • Passion for creativity and community-building
  • Experience coordinating small to medium size events
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage detailed tasks as well as plan strategically
  • Experience using various online platforms such as Asana and Salesforce a plus

 

Compensation

$45,000 yearly
