Anastasis follows Anastasia, a headstrong and impulsive trans woman who accidentally crash-lands the spaceship she shares with her father, Grady, on a barren, uncharted planet. Stranded with a damaged ship and dwindling options, the two are forced into close quarters that expose the fractures already running through their relationship. Their conflict becomes urgent when they learn they are not alone: a group of dangerous Scrappers begins closing in on their camp. Anastasia spots them approaching on the horizon. She looks back at the ship—where her father sleeps, unaware of the threat—and realizes she has to choose between giving up on him or fighting to save them both.
