Join us on the first Thursday of each month to mix and mingle with other Artist Foundry members in the Artist Commons! You can learn more about all of the benefits available to Artist Foundry members and sign up here.

These monthly meetups are a chance to share project updates, swap industry insights, find your next collaborator, explore new ideas, or simply get to know each other better. Occasionally we will feature guest speakers, discussion prompts, or interactive activities, but the heart of the evening will remain centered on fostering a welcoming, supportive space for filmmakers at every stage of their journey.

This month’s mixer will feature an introduction to our Production Consultation service with local PGA Producer, Marcie Gibboney. In these hour-long sessions, Artist Foundry members have the opportunity to work individually with Marcie on your specific project needs and questions. Marcie Gibboney

With over 30 years of business experience including development and delivery of corporate training programs, Marcie has been able to successfully combine this experience with her current career in film and TV production over the last 15 years. She has worked as a Producer, Production Manager/Supervisor, Production Accountant and AD with both large studios and independent production companies. Working with the Utah Film Commission to create the Production Assistant Training program, additional workshops have been developed to create a detailed curriculum.

Marcie is a moderator and co-instructor for the PA training classes and the co-creator, with the Utah Film Commission, of the training program. Marcie has also created classes in accounting, budgeting and the structures for the grip & electric training as well the Focus is Female Workshops.

She is a member of the Producers Guild of America (PGA).
