After failing to steal a slush puppy, a Navajo drifter is thrown out of a trading post and wanders along a highway trying to hitch a ride. He stumbles upon a ceremonial meal being prepared and attempts to steal fresh frybread, causing a standoff with the family’s grandmother. He settles on stealing the uncooked intestines of the freshly butchered sheep, but violently collides with an unsuspecting tourist family’s car during his escape. When the family gets out of the car to investigate, they find the man with the sheep guts spilling out from underneath him, leaving them in horror. He arises as if nothing happened and resumes his journey to roast the guts with his dog, finding joy in the solitude of the desert.
