A comedic dance film about the joys of childlike play. In the Clouds: Suburban Girlhood Recaptured is a reclamation of the inner child while simultaneously reframing who suburban innocence belongs to. Keeping in mind the work of feminist film theorists, this short film blurs the separation between the audience, those behind the camera, and those in front of it, in order to accentuate the autonomy of each subject and their joyful interplay.
