Standing at the verge of her own execution, an almost defeated Earth witnesses how the actions of her most ungrateful inhabitants continue to shorten her lifespan. Determined to give Earth a voice to express, loud and clear, her suffering, this experimental film creatively adapts the writings of renowned Galician poet Rosalía De Castro in combination with the sonification of pollution data and a musical composition inspired by it. Rosalía de Castro’s words of concern about the destruction of her beautiful land drive this piece narrated by acclaimed Spanish actress Barbara Grandío and directed by award-winning filmmakers The Also Sisters with music by Spanish composer Elisabet Curbelo.
